The institution, 'Saraswati Shikshan Sanstha' Kinwat was registered in the year 1980, which aims to provide quality education in tribal, hilly and backward area students. Primarily it was started with a primary school now it has spread in many branches- High School, Junior College, Arts Degree College, D.Ed college, B.Ed College and M.Ed.college. Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Arts College was started in the Greenfield of Kinwat city in the year 1991-1992 and now it has been successfully completed 25 years. It is aided but private college. It is governed by rules and regulations of UGC, Maharashtra Government and affiliated University. As a private college it has its own governing body registered under Charity Commissioner Act. It was a long dream comes true for the 'Saraswati family' to establish the most reputed educational institute in Kinwat. The founder president of this prestigious institution is Shree Venkatrao Nemanniwar and he has his own vision and unending efforts along with the motto 'Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye' started this college, still his leadership inspires the governing body of the institution.
